New Hunter Conspiracy

The Paladins (Inquisators of Christ)-

Paladins-

A mix of the task force valkrie and the mallus maleficarum, warriors of god, that are equipped and protected well..tho they dont possess the benedictions of the MM, or the adv armory of the tfv, they fall some where in between combing mans technology with gods wrath

The Paladins first concern is stopping the spread of knowledge of supernatural forces, as such they are often called on to silence witnessess ( ones that pass lunacy etc)

The paladins are known by their modern day plate armor they wear, made of kevlar and ceramic plate with a small steel covering in certain areas, and closed face helmed ( similar to a smaller motorcycle helmed with a full face cover (mirrored), they have a long white cloak that covers there head and back as well with a catholic cross on it, adding an intimidation facto as when someone peers in their face they only see themselves in the mirrored faceplate there armor is almost always white and adorned with religous symbols

out of the field, the paladains wear religous vestments, white and black with religous adornments equal to their rank in the order
( of course some believe its really two seperate factions within the conspiracy)

The Paladin are thought to come from rome, most in the church believe them to be formed from a secret council within the church, others believe them to be a relived version of the Knights templar funded by the illuminati, and others claim them to be the templars..no one outside the order knows for sure including most senior church members as well as high ranking members of the M.M.

The paladins are very unknown, even with a suprising amount, no one ever seems to recall seeing one of the armored inquisators, and mistake them for priests and clergy when wearing vestments. They are very zealous, and consider themselves to be soldiers of god, a paladin always follows orders, they never question orders, and as such they appear cold and are feared..the order believes its memebrs to be hosts for the angels of god, and seemingly removal of freewill, no one outside the highest ranks of the order knows for sure, most believe they are simply indoctrinated at a young age( as paladins are trained from birth)

Joining the paladins-
you dont join, you are born into the order..
when a child is born, he will always be taken from the hospital, the method of selection is unknown outside the order, but rumors consist of one they call "The Prophet" which is rumored to be a very high ranking member, talks to God, and is told when and where a child worthy to be a vessel is born, and the order takes them
The paladins have an off branch, called the Knights of the Temple, that is joinable to outside memebrs, though they arent privy to secrets of the order, they mainly consist of soldiers, very loyal and zealous soldiers, which leads others to believe they are indoctrinated as well, as all applicants dissapear for 1 week after being accepted,.

They are mysterious and for "holy" men they arent very kind or empathetic, but they have a plan, an assaignment, and a vision..what do the inquisators know that others do not...no one knows

Abiltiies-

Trumpets of Armegeddon and Divine Armnaments-

trumpets- detailing the inquisators holy power, forming in many differnt ways from healing o protection to smiting ones foes

Divine armnament- the equipment of the paladins, mainly focusing on armor and hand to hand weaponry ( inquisators dont use ranged weapons, ever)

Sample trumpet-

Radiance-(trumpet 4) cost 3 willpower
the inquisator lifts his hand and prays as a searing bright flash of light eminates from hsi palm spreading outward from his hand in 5 ft x success around the paladin, anyone caught in the radius rolls a contested roll of resolve+snr vs the paladins trumpet+presence+intimidation, if failed the targets see soemthing, everyone witnessess something differnt such as god speakign to them or angels singing, anyone with a morality of 5 or lower is jsut simply blinded, and lose their next action more over kindred, undead and demonic enities suffer lethal damage equal to the differnce in the contested rolls

I doubt ill open this template up to PC use, prolly be npc only as such, other storytellers on teh site will eb free to sue them, simply pm me and ill send you details of their endowment type abilities and secret info about them and so forth

Taskforce Valkrie- Your red tape and beaurocricies get in your way..and stay out of ours...we know your secret
The Lucifuge- " your no better than teh beasts you hunt..and we will treat you as such
Cheiron group- " see above"
Mallus Malificarum- " you had the right idea..but somehow you turned away from the source...you take orders from man..and man is fallible

Vampires- " awh you forgot to stay dead..here let me help you with that.."
Werewolves " a beast with a purpose..we can relate"
Mages- : tell me wizard, where does your power come from..above or below..your answer determines how this conversation will end"

The Paladins are a broad horizon with three groupings

Knights of the Rose- the iniates, the indoctrinated so to speak ( a hunter conspiracy)
The Inquisators of Christ- the born, the powerful..walk in and kill for christ, wear heavy unique armor and wield divine armnaments ( minor-major template)
The Vessels- not much is known, but those crazed lunatics spouting doomsaday rants claim the vessels are born to serve as a body for an angel-(major template and then some)
